Kallgren Dermatology Clinic accepts the following insurance plans:
- Aetna US Healthcare
- Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- Cigna Health Plan
- Colorado HealthOP PPO
- Golden Rule
- Great West Health Care
- Rocky Mountain Health Plans
- United Healthcare
- United Medical Alliance
If you have an HMO or your insurance plan is not listed here please contact your insurance plan to determine Kallgren Dermatology Clinic is considered “in-network.”
Additionally, in response to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) many of the above listed insurance companies have developed “narrow network” insurance plans where they have carved out a limited number of providers in a geographic area. As the name implies these narrow networks do not include all providers that currently hold contracts with the insurance company. It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure that our clinic is truly “in-network.” Failure to do so will result in the insurance claim being denied payment by the insurance company. This will shift the entire fiscal burden for the appointment onto the patient. We seek to avoid this type of confusion if at all possible.
Although we are “in-network” with your insurance company, it remains the patient’s responsibility to know all guidelines, limitations, end deductibles set forth by their insurance company. It is best for the patient to review their insurance contract before seeing any medical provider to avoid unexpected costs incurred.
